This project followed immediately the week of Columbine shootings, and I decided to vent my emotions via this disturbing sculpture.  Involving several weeks of work (including lengthy after-school stays), the piece consists of a wire armature covered and stuffed with burlap, which is sewn onto the wire frame with thinner wire.  The head alone took four consecutive hours to make and features an intense (as well as useless, for it can't be seen) web of wires of every denomination under the burlap.
